It is located in the centre of Igueste and is best known for its wine-press, which was formerly located in the House of La Mesa and then moved under a neighbourhood initiative in 1980. This is the starting point of two local tracks, SL-TF 296.2 Barranco of Charcorche and SL-TF 296 La Mesa, from which the House of La Mesa can be reached, which was built in the 19th century and which was used communally by farmers working on their lands.
Built in 1971 and located in the centre of Cuevecitas , it houses images of the Virgin of the Rose and of St. Andrew, both of whom are honoured every year during the festivities bearing their name. This is where local track SL-TF 296.1 Barranco El Rincon starts, which takes you to the centre of Araya.
Pino de las Cuevecitas
It is a species of the Canarian pine tree (Pinus canariensis) which is over 300 years old, catalogued under large trees, woods and flora of Tenerife, and which is protected at a municipal level.
Ermita de San Isidro Labrador
It was built in the seventies, thanks to the hard work and devotion of the people of Araya, who went there to celebrate their festivities on the last weekend in May every year.
Parque Recreativo de Los Brezos
This ideal location in which to enjoy nature is equipped with tables, open stoves and playgrounds for children and is located next to the St. Isidro Chapel, under the Canarian pine grove of this municipality.
El Drago de Igueste
It is a species of the Canarian dragon tree (Dracaena draco), indigenous to Madeira, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, which is catalogued under large trees, woods and flora of Tenerife, and is protected at a municipal level.
Iglesia de la Santísima Trinidad
Steps to build the church were first taken in 1783 and in 1788 it was blessed and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. It houses the images of St. John the Baptist and the Immaculate Conception, both of which are honoured during their respective annual festivities.
Caserío de Pasacola
It was the first human settlement in the inland part of the borough and was built in a strategic location and used as a lookout point, with fertile lands and natural springs nearby. The Camino Viejo runs through it, having been the route which had to be taken by people and their goods on the way to Candelaria. Nowadays remains of the old houses, a threshing floor, pens and terraces in the mountains, can still be seen. The hamlet has been declared a Property of Public Interest (BIC), categorized as a historical site.
Vera de los Riscos
Vera de los Riscos: Also known as the Vera de Igueste, it is a good vantage point, from which to enjoy the views of the Valley of Igueste, its centre and the hamlet of La Jimenez.
Mirador de El Picacho
Viewing point of El Picacho: it is located on the Montaña del Castillo, which is a volcano that presides over the upper part of Barranco Hondo. It can be reached by road and from here there is a panoramic view of southeast Tenerife, from the hillsides of Anaga to part of the Valley of Güímar.
